A ready-made garment factory in Adamjee EPZ — dark grey, with asymmetric fenestration and a stepped roof rail, office blocks set in an L on two sides of the production hall.
The challenge
An industrial brief has to reconcile production flow, budget and future expansion, and the client asked for a factory that would not read as another anonymous shed at the EPZ gate.
The approach
Circulation and layout were resolved first so each section feeds the next, and the two office blocks sit to either side of a double-height production hall, letting managers take in the whole floor in a single frame. Recycled timber battens line ceilings and walls, and bands of strong colour run across roof and wall planes.
