A nail bar and spa fitted into a narrow floor of an existing building — laser-cut jaali screens and slatted timber ceiling rafts used to break one long room into treatment zones.
The challenge
The salon runs as a single deep, narrow room glazed along one flank, so styling, pedicure, massage and retail all had to share it without solid walls cutting off light.
The approach
Freestanding jaali panels in black steel frames divide the room while light passes straight through their cut floral geometry, and dark stained timber rafts drop over each zone to give it a ceiling of its own. Roller blinds soften the glazed wall, gloss cream tiles bounce light back, and an ochre ceiling holds the warmth.
