Three floors of prayer space on an irregular corner plot — stacked around a central void that rises to a shallow vault over the top hall.
The challenge
A tight, wedge-shaped plot had to hold three floors of prayer space, ablution and circulation while keeping every row square to the qibla rather than to the boundary.
The approach
The prayer hall is set as a true rectangle inside the angled boundary, with stairs, ablution and the imam’s room absorbed into the leftover wedges at the edges. A void cut through all three floors lets the upper galleries look down to the mihrab, and daylight arrives through tall arched openings and perforated screens set between the piers.
