A technology company’s workplace in Banani, Dhaka — planned around suspended timber screening in place of partitions, with the circuit board turned into the interior’s own graphic language.
The challenge
An ordinary floor plate with a tight ceiling had to carry open-plan work, meeting rooms and informal space without partitions closing it down or the services overhead crowding it.
The approach
Slatted oak screens hang from the soffit on slim black rods, filtering sightlines while light and air pass straight through, and meeting rooms sit behind full-height glazing so the floor stays legible from end to end. Circuit-board traces run across lime-green panels and continue as dark inlays in the pale tiled floor, binding the zones into one system.
