A 12,000-square-foot outdoor activity space for Confidence Group in Basundhara, Dhaka — a completed venue shaped to draw people together for leisure and community life in the open air.

The brief

An outdoor venue that activates community engagement — somewhere to gather, play and unwind within a dense part of the city.

The design

The space is organised for movement and gathering, with landscape, shade and a mix of hard and soft surfaces arranged to host activity through the day. Planting and open ground keep the venue relaxed and green.

Architecture and landscape design for a 12,000 sft outdoor activity space. Confidence Group, completed 2024.
