A 365,000-square-foot office-and-dyeing complex for Crony Group in Fatullah — threaded beneath a live high-voltage grid line and resolved as three layered volumes behind a screen of vertical fins.
Abanti Color Tex sits on a tight Narayanganj site crossed overhead by a major Dhaka power-supply line. The design holds clearance for the diagonal run of the wires while still accommodating both the office block and the factory, stacking the programme as three distinct layers. A monochromatic front of vertical fins does several jobs at once — shielding the glass wall, diffusing daylight, and opening planted in-between spaces for pause and relaxation. Steel, bare concrete and pockets of greenery set a deliberately raw, contemporary tone that carries inside, where a central void links the floors and a glass lift keeps the long view open across the building.
