A 365,032-square-foot factory for Crony Group in Fatullah, Narayanganj — an industrial building shaped around a live high-voltage power line, where a rhythm of vertical fins turns a safety clearance into the facade's defining feature.
A major high-voltage power line runs straight across the site, bisecting the buildable area and imposing strict safety clearances under the national building code. Rather than work against the constraint, the design absorbs it.
A rhythm of vertical fins wraps the office and dyeing building, holding the required clearance from the power line while diffusing harsh daylight into the workspaces behind. Inside, a triple-height volume connects open workstations and office floors — lit by custom sculptural fixtures and served by a glass lift — while buyers' lounges, meeting rooms and quiet relaxation spaces are folded into a calm, largely monochromatic palette. Green terraces and semi-open spaces bring planting and air to a dense industrial site.
