TEMASEK’s office interior — pale ash fins that start on the wall behind reception and carry straight overhead as a lit ceiling, tying the entrance to the working floor.
The challenge
The shell arrives as bare board-marked concrete with tie holes across every wall, and the fit-out had to work with that surface rather than cover it over.
The approach
Ash-veneer fins and coffers are set against the concrete only where they are needed — behind the reception counter, over the lobby, along the desk runs — leaving the tie-holed walls exposed elsewhere. A backlit white counter, glass-partitioned meeting rooms and blue upholstery on turquoise rugs give the pale floor its few fixed points.
