Shehzad Palace

On a busy day of Dhaka if u pass though Shezad palace at Gulshan 2 your eyes will be drawn to a unique feature of this building. It seems there’s a sculpture on the facade of this 15 storied building. But in reality, it is a fire escape. When we were offered the assignment, we thought why not make something that is functional, visually interesting and safe. We have drawn line references from the existing exterior design of the building and matched this linear louvre patterned steel screens over the stairs.
