New Dhaka is one of Bangladesh’s largest housing projects, comprising 22.38 acres in Rasulpur on the outskirts of Dhaka. The entire concept is based around the Dhaleshwari river, which is the most powerful site force of the location. The riverbank’s bold nature inspired the design considerations for all of the project’s functions. All social activities are planned by the river banks to celebrate the visual beauty and sustenance of nature. The residential zone, on the other hand, is planned in a location away from the bank, allowing all 125 villas to enjoy river views and oriented such way that allows natural ventilation.
