Khan Brothers is a brand, popularly associated with weddings. Our wedding culture is largely influenced by the subcontinental splendor of royal aestheticism. Among which Mughal inspiration is dominant. Its intricate use of motifs is commonly found in wedding crafts. Also, Mughal architecture blends Islamic and Hindu building traditions of creating a sense of elongated space with open pillar halls to enclosed rooms. We reflected upon the culture of the interior of the showroom. The interior creates visual elongation in corridors and walls. The walls are adorned with countless ticking custom-designed clocks. It creates a notion of taking the visitor back in time. Black and white portrayals of Khan Brother’s glorious history of five decades are placed throughout the interior, which in some way walks customers through its history. We used the eternal resemblance of wedding red on the wall, the impact that was further enhanced by the warm lighting of the chandelier across the entire showroom. Exposed wiring on the roof added to the ruggedness of contemporary design fusion. The ethos of the wedding enfolded in the mixture of classic and contemporary design patterns made the interior a timeless vault.
