This project is an 8-story apartment building in Chittagong, Bangladesh, prioritizes functionality and privacy. Each floor, accommodating two units, is meticulously planned to optimize space utilization and ensure smooth circulation throughout the building. Privacy is a central focus, achieved by carefully delineating activity zones within each unit. The building’s facade encourages continuous airflow, with strategically placed sunshades and windows controlling natural light entry. Thoughtful arrangement of the rooftop provides two levels of communal spaces, fostering interaction among residents and offering recreational opportunities. To enhance the modern aesthetic, windows are positioned alternately, and metal screens are integrated onto the building facade. This comprehensive approach not only improves energy efficiency but also creates a comfortable and sustainable living environment, significantly enhancing the residents’ quality of life.
